4-day, 3-night trip to Washington D.C.: see description above

Dates: four days, three nights in early/mid-June. Last year’s trip was June 10-12.

Holiday Swap: Join a Class 15 student on both legs of their Holiday Swap. Cultural Leadership’s Holiday Swap is meant to expose people to religions and traditions that they may normally never experience.  For example, a Jewish student will join his/her Christian classmate for an Easter Sunday service and brunch, and then that Jewish student will host him/her for a Passover Seder. Seders are normally on the first or second night of Passover. If you want to broaden your horizons and enjoy some home-cooked, traditional meals, you will love this package!

Dates: Easter Sunday is April 12, 2020; Passover Seder will be on April 8 0r 9, 2020.

Attend two Programs on Black or Jewish History and Culture or Black/Jewish Relations and Organizing: Cultural Leadership students participate in seven Sunday workshops over the course of the year. Of these, two are about Jewish history and culture, and two are about African American history and culture. Another is about the historical relationship between the Black and Jewish communities. This package enables you to attend two out of the three sessions of your choice.

Dates: Black History and Culture is September 22; Jewish History and Culture is October 6. Black/Jewish Relations and Organizing is Dec. 15. All of these programs are Sundays from 2-6pm.
